Fishing Bear Lodge
Fishing Bear Lodge sits at the confluence of Lake Beverly and the Wind River, in the middle of Alaska’s Wood-Tikchik State Park, about 60 air miles north of Dillingham. I worked there one summer. A small lodge, it handles eight guests at a time.
